"Born and raised here, I haven't felt this proud of Austin in quite some time. Michelle and I will go home and make good, good love to honor this night. Thank you, thank you. An absolutely fantastic sound that will ring my melodies for a while to come. Much Respect and love.

Y'all are sensational. I'm 75 and I've been listening to rock, soul, R&B, blues, jazz and world music for 65 years- and I've heard EVERYONE (just about). You folk have what it takes- and I've become a huge fan. Warm regards for continued success.

What an electric feeling I have watching you guys jam. I can't help but feel I've come across the next big funk band. It feels special as a spectator. The musicianship of each member is wild. My eyes and ears have been locked in for the past hour- absolutely mesmerizing. To Jennifer- I absolutely adore the pure love and sweetness you radiate. Your spiritual heart will take you far. God bless you all.

What a show- Really over the top. The percussion, the drums, the guitar, the bass, the keys... I felt transcended at times as if it was a statement about the past and future. Melody and strength. So impressed.

"New band alert!!
Last night, the Austin music scene witnessed an enchanting performance from Jennifer Foster and the Audacity at the renowned C-Boys Heart & Soul. This fresh ensemble, spearheaded by the charismatic Jennifer Foster.
Jennifer Foster, serving dual roles as vocalist and bassist, has crafted an original catalogue that resonates with the soulful vibrations of Motown, funk, R&B, blues, and rock. Her dedication over the past three months has culminated in a sound that is both nostalgic and refreshingly innovative.
The synergy among the band members was palpable. Guitarist Robert Parker Jr. infused the night with fiery solos that complemented Foster’s bass lines perfectly, while Dane Farnsworth on organ added layers of lush, sonic texture that enriched the overall sound.
Michael Hale on drums and Anthony Corsaro on percussion both kept the beat of the night.
However, it was the vocal interplay between Uncle Roy, Foster, Anna Cargill, and Spice that truly defined the essence of the night. Far from mere background singers, Roy, Cargill and Spice brought their own powerful voices to the forefront, creating stunning harmonies that intertwined seamlessly with Foster’s lead vocals. The quad’s dynamic performances showcased a vocal chemistry that is rare and captivating.
The atmosphere at C-Boys was electric, with the audience visibly moved by the band’s energy and musical prowess. The set was a balanced mix of slow burners and upbeat jams, showing off the band’s versatility and tight musical coordination.
Jennifer Foster and the Audacity are clearly a force to be reckoned with in the Austin music landscape. Their performance was not only a display of individual talents but also a celebration of what can be achieved when artists come together blending traditional genres with innovative twists to create something truly unique and exciting.
Austin music lovers, take note: Jennifer Foster and the Audacity are here, and they’re just getting started. If last night was any indication, this band is on a trajectory that promises great things ahead. Don’t miss the chance to say you saw them when."
